Winthrop Corey Designs specializes in hand made custom tutus. The bodice, made with drill fabric, has eight fully lined and boned panels with the standard V front. You can choose one of two methods of construction, bodice and basque made separately or the Kirov style where the bodice and basque are made in one piece. The skirt is made from diamond net and has eleven graduated layers starting with the top layer which is 15 inches long. All tutus are hooped for durability. 

Our basic white tutu may be used for such ballets as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty or The Nutcracker, while our basic black tutu may be used for Black Swan, Paquita or Carmen. For an additional charge tutus may be dyed to your specifications or made from specialized fabric such as brocade or velvet.

Top skirt overlays, jewels, beading and trim are also available for an additional charge.  Arm puffs and arm ruffles may also be custom ordered for an additional charge.

Our basic white Romantic tutus have 4 layers of gathered tulle and one under layer of net and are attached to a twill basque. Skirts are made to a standard length of 32 inches and may be cut to your desired length upon arrival.

Bodice options are the same as the classical tutu. The Romantic tutu is ideal for Giselle, Les Sylphides or Swan Lake Act II. Custom decorations are available for an additional charge.

Custom Arm Puffs and Ruffles can be made to order using lace, chiffon and other fabrics to match your tutu. Price $20.00/pair

All custom tutus will be shipped between four and six weeks after your order is placed. A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering with balance due when your order arrives. Shipping and handling charges will be added to your bill. Since all tutus are hand made and one of a kind, they are not returnable.
